Corridor Description

The Trailer Park in Abia State (Aro-Ngwa, Osisioma Ngwa LGA) is located at Ife-Aro-Umuonyeukwu/Arongwa along Enugu-Port Harcourt Expressway all in Osisioma Ngwa Local Government Area of Abia State between Ch 158+100 - Ch 159+300 along the Expressway. The total area of the Park is approximately 209,851.89 sq.m. The area was acquired by the then Governor of Abia State His Excellency Okezie Victor Ikpeazu on 16th November 2016. The area was surveyed by the Lands Department in Abia State, the boundaries are straight and the bearings and lengths are stated in the Order (Photocopy of Certified True Copy of Order is ANNEX I). TRAILER PARKING LOT DETAILS The Trailer Parking Layout reveals that the total area strictly for Parking lots is 193,780.20 sq.m which includes the Parking areas and the boundaries. A. The Layout also shows that the space can accommodate a total of 176 Trailer Parking Lots as follows: i. 2 bays of 50 Trailer Parking Lots (measuring 14,798.82 sq.m and 14,237.93sq.m respectively; maximum width is 59.4m) = 100 Parking Lots; ii. 1 bay of 42 Trailer Parking Lots (measuring 12,62.72 sq.m; maximum width is 59.4m) = 42 Parking Lots; and iii. 1 bay of 34 Trailer Parking Lots (measuring 10,934.81sq.m; maximum width is 59.4m) = 34 Parking Lots B. The Layout also reveals there are 2 bays of 50 cars/minibuses Parking Lots (measuring 3,133.82 sq.m and 3,047.03 sq.m respectively; maximum width is 18m) = 100 Parking Lots for cars and minibuses. C. There are also areas marked out for Travelers’ Inn, Fire Station, Police Station, Workshop, Toilet/Showers, Water Supply, Power Supply and Green Area.
